Abstract
This study explored how integrating Information and Communication Technology (ICT) can assist in achieving the learning outcomes of the senior cycle Agricultural Science curriculum. Data was collected through online surveys and semi-structured interviews using a mixed methods approach. Teachers and pupils were asked about the benefits and challenges of ICT integration and if understanding is deepened when ICT is integrated. Teachers and pupils reported that ICT can allow them to integrate more student-centred and student-led activities, which leads pupils to take more ownership of their learning, resulting in more motivated engagement in Agricultural Science lessons. The challenges from this data are the teacher's digital skills and
confidence with using ICT and stable connection, power supply and classroom management. However, the data indicated that high-quality infrastructure and teacher training is necessary to reduce teachers' challenges when implementing ICT.
